Team Bios

Anish Puri
Dr. Anish Puri is an Engineering Fellow at ZINK Imaging, where he leads the Software Development group. Prior to joining ZINK, he spent 15 years at Polaroid Corporation where he was most recently Director, Software Engineering. While at Polaroid Corporation, he created the Polaroid India software organization from the ground up and led the offshore organization for the past 10 years.

Dr. Puri also worked with a number of international partners to deliver software products for Polaroid, including Polaroid's first consumer software product. Before joining the Instant Digital Printing Division, Dr. Puri was the Software Engineering Functional Lead for several Polaroid digital imaging and printer programs including an advanced medical printer and a proprietary imaging package.

Before joining Polaroid Corporation, Dr. Puri spent 6 years as a Lead Software Consultant with ERT Corporation, a subsidiary of COMSAT, where he delivered complex real-time systems and software solutions for the National Weather Service, New England Power Exchange, and a variety of Fortune 100 customers including IBM, GE, Union Carbide, Monsanto, and Kodak.

Dr. Puri received both his doctorate in Applied Mathematical Modeling and a Master of Science from Virginia Tech. He holds a Bachelor of Science from IIT.
