Picture a Day Project with hAppy

Hi, everyone!  This is our first official "guest" here on the hAppy blog.  I'm thrilled to introduce Becky Vandenberg, a member of the hAppy Club and whose projects we've shared before!  I LOVE Becky's idea for so many reasons.  But not just the emotional aspect of it, the SIMPLICITY of it.  Imagine the joy that this simple idea will bring you and your loved ones for years to come!

Hi all, my name is Becky and I blog at U Create.  I love being part of the hAppy team and making fun projects with this amazing little machine!

Being a blogger, I have to be able to take pretty pictures, so I practice all-day. everyday!  Seriously, I am always taking pictures of everyday things and events.  I am also a journaler.  I journal and doodle as often as I can. So you would think that being a photographer and journal writer, I would have no problem doing a picture-a-day blog or journal or scrapbook or whatever, but I have never been able to complete a documented year in pictures.  Every year I try and I am super motivated until about April; this is when I keep putting it off and finally give up.  {UGH, did I just say I am a quitter!}

This year is going to be different. I have enlisted the help of my children and we are ready to succeed! Why? Because I have the hAppy and an iPhone.

hAppy Printer Project 365

I bought a small Daily Planner and some zRolls and we are ready to document our year. Every night as a family (usually at dinner), we go through the pictures on my iPhone and we decide which one best represents our day.  We print it out with the hAppy and stick it right in the book.  Then I write a sentence or two about the picture.  It’s that easy!

Give it a try! Become a cell phone photographer and take pictures everyday. Print them out! (Let’s face it, what good do pictures do hiding on your hard drive.)  This is a great way to document your year!  I will report back and let you know how this project is going!  HAVE A hAppy YEAR!
